Sep. 1997   Hangzhou Silan Electronics Co., Ltd was founded.

Oct. 1997    Purchased a 40% share of Hangzhou Youwang Electronics Co., Ltd.

Dec. 1999   Certified by High and New-tech Industries Enterprise of Zhejiang Province.

Jan. 2000    Established Shenzhen Salan Microelectronics Co., Ltd. as a subsidiary  company to manage the marketing  in Southeast China.

Oct. 2000    Hangzhou Silan Electronics Co., Ltd was re-incorporated as Hangzhou Silan Microelectronics Co., Ltd.

Jan. 2001    Established Hangzhou Silan Integrated Circuit Co. Ltd as a subsidiary company to manufacture ICs.

Mar. 2002   Recognized as one of the members of China Semiconductor Industry Association IC Design Branch.

Jul. 2002     Recognized as a National Torch Project Software Base Leading Enterprise.

Mar. 2003    IPO initiated with 26 million series A-stock on Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Jun. 2004    Released first CD servo IC applied in CD Audio system.

Sep. 2004   IC testing factory located in Hangzhou Binjiang District was constructed.

Jul. 2005     Established Silan Microelectronics (USA), Inc. (Located in Silicon Valley)

Sep. 2006   Silan R&D Center (Shanghai) was Established.

Jan. 2007    Released the first LED driver IC with high power efficiency that using special BCD process of Silan IC.

Apr. 2007    Released the first single chip DVD player system.
