1. Containing internal PWM control circuit and high voltage MOSFET, compared to discrete control circuit and power MOSFET application solution, the SD484X series reduces cost and at the same time increases the reliability.
2. Maximum values of MOSFET on-resistance includes 16.8Ω, 9.6Ω, 6.0Ω, 4.8Ω and 3.6Ω for maximum peak currents of 0.6 A, 0.75 A, 0.90 A, 1.20 A and 1.50A respectively, which can be selected according to the output power needed.
3. Low power dissipation, low start-up current and low EMI with maximum frequency up to 80%.
4. Adjustable start voltage and output voltage, and the output power available is 7~21W in specific input voltage and 5~18W in full voltage range.
5. Built-in 15ms soft-start circuit reduces the transformer stress when the IC starts up.
6. 67KHz switch frequency with frequency jitter for low EMI.
7. Burst mode operation in standby mode for low power dissipation.
8. Various protective functions are integrated, such as under-voltage lock, over-voltage protection, leading edge blanking, over-current protection and temperature protection. Auto restart will not stop until the system is recovery if protection is active.
